Kia ora Lillia,
ReplyDeleteWell done on completing another SLJ activity, "Something Smells Fishy". I really like how you have added the facts and then stipulated whether they were true or false. I learnt a lot from reading your activity, In fact, I did not know that sharks are the only fish that have eyelids. That is absolutely fascinating. I did a bit of research around this and sharks don't use their eyelids to blink as the water cleans their eyeballs. Do you know what purpose their eyelids have?
Maybe for your next SLJ posts, you could add the title of the activity and write an introduction. This helps visitors to your page understand the activity you are completing. It also helps my self and the SLJ team work out which activity you have completed.
Keep up the awesome work, Lillia.
Nga mihi,

Kia ora Lillia,
ReplyDeleteit's Claire here:)
You've been doing great!
I like your facts about fish, my favorite fact is
Fish Fact #4: Fish communicate with each other by making low-pitched sounds (moans, hisses, etc)
This is new info to me.
I remember when I was doing this activity, I was like, WOW! I didn't know that fish could communicate to each other like that!
Maybe next time you could jazz it up a bit, maybe put some photos of the fish you are learning about.
